• Please be advised, Expressions Dance Centre is a peanut-free zone, therefore we ask that no peanut products be brought into the facility. Thank you for your cooperation.
  
  
• No Gum in the facility.
  
  
• Food and drinks should not be brought into the changing facility or the dance studio. Students may bring a plastic water bottle with a secured lid into the studio to leave with their bags at the side of the room.
  
  
• No street shoes should be worn in the studio.
  
  
• Anyone found defacing the property in any way will be dismissed from the studio.
  
  
• Please keep the changing facilities and washrooms clean and tidy at all times.
  
  
• Students will be expected to display appropriate dance etiquette in and out of the classroom. Students will show respect for all teachers, staff members, classmates and other students at all times.
  
  
• Dance uniforms are required at all times and are mandatory for class participation at each class. Hair should be neat and tidy, with bangs and loose hair swept off the face. Please see our Uniform Requirements Brochure for more information.
  
  
• Fees paid for class instruction, do not include the cost of uniforms or Showcase costumes. Additional costs related to competition rehearsals, entrance fees and travel expenses are not covered by the studio.
  
  
• For safety reasons, students are not allowed to wear jewellery or eye glasses during class. Please speak to us if you have any concerns regarding this matter.
  
  
• Students are responsible for changing in and out of their dance attire before, after or in between classes. Parents are responsible for assisting with their children who may need extra help changing. Students are encouraged to arrive for dance class already in uniform.
  
  
• Students are encouraged to use the washroom before class to ensure they will not miss valuable class instruction. Parents are responsible for taking their younger children to the washroom before or during class if necessary.
  
  
• Students are not allowed in the dance studio at any time without a teacher present. This is for your own safety.
  
  
• We encourage students to be present at all classes, however if you are going to be absent, please call the studio.
  
  
• The studio is not responsible for missed notices due to absences. Please contact the front desk for any missed information. You can also visit our website for new updates and announcements.
  
  
• Students may use a dance bag to transport their belongings to and from class. However, Expressions Dance Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen articles therefore we encourage you to leave your valuables at home.
  
  
• Parents must notify the studio of any allergies or medical conditions affecting their child.
  
  
• Please have children arrive for class on time to ensure they do not miss valuable instruction. All students should be picked up promptly after class.
  
  
• If parents wish to speak to the teachers directly, arrangements can be made through the front desk.
  
  
• Parents are asked to wait in the designated waiting area. Observation classes will be scheduled for parents, relatives and friends throughout the year.
