*Please note: due to the increase in the number of weeks to the dance season in 08-09 (we will have 35 weeks instead of 32 weeks) rates will appear slightly higher on a monthly basis to cover the additional classes.

**Rates are for tuition only; additional expenses to anticipate would be class uniforms, required shoes for the dance program of study, year-end recital costumes and related expenses (such as tickets, and other optional expenses such as photo packages, DVDs, recital T-shirts, etc), exam fees and related expenses if your child is chosen for an exam. 

***Competitive program is additional and requires choreography & rehearsal fees, competition entry fees, costume fees, tights and accessories, travel expenses, etc. however these expenses can be reduced substantially by fundraising efforts.

What Additional Expenses Can I Anticipate before I select my dance program?  

- Class Uniforms (range from $40 - $100 per class, based on program and age of student)

- Year-end Showcase Costume ($80.00 per student, per class, for a professional costume)

OPTIONAL EXPENSES:

- Showcase Ticket Prices ($12.00 - $15.00 on average)

- Showcase DVDs (Professional quality for $25.00 - $45.00 on average)

– Showcase Photo Package ($30 per package avg. – prices determined by photographers)

Single Class Rates (based on 1 class per week):

30 min class = $38.00 / month plus GST

45 min class = $42.00 / month plus GST

60 min class = $46.00 / month plus GST

90 min class (Int / Sr. Ballet w pointe option) = $55.00 / month plus GST

2^nd class or child - take $5.00 off your monthly total

3^rd class or child – take $10.00 off your monthly total

4^th class or child - take $15.00 off your monthly total

5^th class or child – take $20.00 off your monthly total

Full Time Student Rate:

(unlimited weekly classes for competitive and full-time intensive training students)

5 – 8yrs of age = $1500 plus GST annually (or $167 / month plus GST)

9 – 12yrs = $1750 plus GST annually (or $194 / month plus GST) 

13yrs + = $2000 plus GST annually (or $222 / month plus GST)

2008 – 2009 Fee Schedule

All registrants are subject to an annual registration fee, with the exception of Early-Bird pre-registrants.

Payment Plan ‘A’       – 1 annual payment of the full tuition amount due at the time of registration. This payment plan includes a 5% tuition discount therefore you save the GST when you pay upfront by cash, cheque or online credit card payment (subject to 2.9% paypal fee).

Payment Plan ‘B’       - 2 annual payments (full tuition amount divided into 2 installments plus GST) due at the time of registration, along with a post-dated cheque for February 1st. The first installment can be paid by cash, cheque or online credit card payment (subject to 2.9% paypal fee)

Payment Plan ‘C’       - 3 annual payments (full tuition amount divided into 3 installments plus GST) due at the time of registration, along with 2 post-dated cheques for December 1^st and March 1^st 2009.

Payment Plan ‘D’       - 9 monthly payments (total monthly tuition amount plus GST) with the first month due at the time of registration paid by cash or cheque.  Please note: This plan does not include any further discounts.

*NEW for 08-09 Season – all monthly payment plans will now require an EFT account (Electronic Funds Transfer through your bank) so that payments can go through on the 1^st of each month without you submitting post-dated cheques for the year. This saves us having to write up multiple deposits and saves you having to order more cheques that you likely no longer have or use, therefore this a much more cost-effective and efficient way for us to do business and to continue to offer you a monthly payment plan without increasing rates, charging convenience fees, etc.
